VP Estate Planning

Will Mahaffy, J.D.

Biography

Will Mahaffy brings a unique blend of business experience and legal acumen to ClientFirst Wealth, Legacy & Estate Planning. He graduated magna cum laude from Texas Christian University (TCU) with a BBA in Accounting, and after a successful start in property accounting, he pursued his Juris Doctorate at Texas A&M University School of Law, graduating cum laude.

Will's transition to law was driven by a desire to serve others, leading him to discover his interest in estate planning. While working at the Texas A&M Probate and Estate Legal Clinic, he witnessed firsthand the immense impact thoughtful estate planning can have on families. Will's core belief is that estate planning is about more than drafting documents; it is about safeguarding legacies, caring for loved ones, and removing their anxieties during difficult times.

Experience as the Associate Managing Editor for the Journal of Property Law and an externship with the Honorable Judge Lee P. Rudofsky, U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of Arkansas, have further strengthened Will's professional foundation.

Will is licensed with the State Bar of Texas and is an active member of the Tarrant County Bar Association and the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association. In his time away from work, Will enjoys running, exploring nature, wildlife conservation, and cheering on his alma mater, TCU.
